NGANYA CHIBUIKE M. from Absu Law Clinics: Reflection

My personal reflection by NGANYA CHIBUIKE M.
I was opportuned by the Absu law clinic to visit the prison and interview some inmates. On my first visit to Aba prisons, I was a little surprised by the way the prison wardens cooperated with us. There was no much application letters to write because they knew our records when it comes to releasing inmates and it was quite impressive. I successfully interviewed Chukujekwu Ene who is charged for robbery and also got his suit number that day. I could remember while I was getting my client's suit number, one of the prison wardens kept on praising the Absu law clinic with the way we have been rendering selfless service to the society and he encouraged us to keep up the good work. I never knew how far Absu law clinic has gone until I went to get my client's CTC of court proceedings and charge sheet in a court located in the rural area of Aba. As soon as we entered the chief Registrar's office and introduced our selves, the registra stood up and said..I quote "you people again? Una no dey tire?!." She still welcomed us, we got the CTC of court proceedings and currently we are finalizing the release of Chukujekwu Ene.
