I am Lawal Toheeb Abdulrasaq, a 300L common
law student of University of Ilorin.
Speaking of my experience as regards the
project, it has been a wonderful
experience so far one which I wish I could relive over and over again.
I have experienced the prison setting. This project gave me access to a prison for
the first time in my life.
I also got to work with so many other
project participants. People I wouldn’t ordinarily talk to.
Speaking of what I’ve learnt so far. I have
learnt so much in such a long time. Some of which are how to interact with people in a formal setting, notes taking
on courts and the highlight of it all, client counselling.
Being a part of this project is so much
fulfilling. I have a
wonderful set of colleagues and a great team leader.
It’s been a wonderful and enlightening experience so far and I'm so glad to be a participant in
the project.
