Omole Roheemah Tinuade from Unilorin Law Clinic:Reflection

I had great expectations right from when I volunteered to participate in the project and I am very proud to affirm that it did not fall short of my expectations.
Participating in a huge project like this has been highly beneficial to my growth inward and outward.
Working with people has developed my inter personal and communication skills.
I am also proud of the fact that I'm developing on my knowledge of procedural law. For example, I can boast of being able to interview a client in a professional manner. That includes not being biased and being able to control my emotions.
It feels amazing to have been a part of this project and it has not only changed my perspective about people in difficult situations, it has moulded me into someone who has an objective and unbiased mindset in approaching matters.
However, I'd like the clinic to widen it's scope in areas where we can help people. I understand the fact that not all cases can be taken up but I strongly believe that there are some areas that we could help.
All in all, it has been an interestingly eye opening experience and I hope to be able to participate in more projects even when I start practicing.
Thank you.
